It’s that time of year again when we all get on our lab coats and get nerdy with the Science Festival takeover at the Zoo. But instead of dry science lessons with professors wearing tweed jackets with elbow pads, we’re creating many fun events for all audiences – including games and trails for kids.
Science festival stalls are free with general zoo admission.
Come and meet the team of Heriot Watt Engineering students who have designed a ‘biosensor’ egg to help us better understand just what happens when our birds are sitting on eggs. Discover more about the birds at the zoo through many egg-citing games, such as “who laid it?”
An opportunity to learn about studbooks and our animal’s diets with activities created by our keepers. Find out more through activities created by RZSS zoo keepers.
